Dirt track racing fans at Estevan Motor Speedway enjoyed great weather for their season opener. Winners on the Southeastern Saskatchewan high-banked 3/8 mile dirt oval were Travis Hagen (IMCA Modifieds), Robby Rosselli (IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds), Leevi Runge (IMCA Hobby Stocks), Ryder Raynard (Slingshots) and Brendon LaBatte (IMCA Street Stocks).
The best run of the day belonged to Saskatchewan Roughrider Brendon LaBatte who started in the 10th position and worked his way up to the front, to capture the checkered flag, and park his #57 IMCA Street Stock in victory lane.
