Greg Cybulski (August 19, 2017) 12 years ago, Swift Current's Brody Crowe began his journey in dirt track racing. Like every racer, he dreamed about taking the checkered flag and bringing his car to victory lane. With a lot of patience and persistence, Crowe finally realized his dream on the final 2017 points race at his home track, Living Sky Casino Speedway on Saturday night.
During his 12 year run, Brody has competed in 4 different car classes. His 2017 season in the Modified class has been his best. In addition to Crowe's feature win, he finished in the Top 3 in track points for the first time this season.
In other news, Stefan Klym's efforts paid off as a strong showing including a Saturday feature win netted him another Street Stock track Championship.
Friday night's feature winners were Kelly Bauman in the Modifieds and Murray Koethler in Street Stocks.
With the conclusion of points races, the season champions were crowned. The Modified Track Champion was #66 Kelly Bauman and the Street Stock Track Champion was #5K Stefan Klym.

Final racing action for Living Sky Casino Speedway is the 4th Annual WTF (Wild Throttle Fun) Race on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 featuring Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks. This is a popular non-points race event with cash payouts. Starting time is 7:00pm on Saturday and 2:30pm on Sunday.
